Following further announcements at COP we updated our analysis on 9 November of the 2100 projected warming. Implementing all conditional NDCs and the long-term targets, and taking into account the Global Methane Pledge, implies a best-estimate peak warming this century of 1.9ºC, with end-of-century warming of 1.8ºC. To make this a reality, the world needs domestic policies, implementation and adequate support, not just pledges. The briefing paper is available here. This has also been widely reported and compared with the estimates provided by the three other groups globally who have provided estimates of the implied warming: The United Nations Environment Program, Climate Action Tracker, and the International Energy Agency.
