It would imply at least 2.5-2.6°C of warming (83% chance of staying below), and a best-estimate (50% chance of staying below) warming of 2.3°C. Both a 75% reduction by 2035 target and bringing forward the net-zero target to 2040 is required for Australia to move to a 1.5°C aligned pathway.
