Malte Meinshausen provided a keynote presentation to a conference organised by the Environmental Defence Society, Sustainable Business Council and Climate Leaders Coalition, outlining key conclusions from the IPCC AR6 regarding mitigation pathways in line with 1.5°C, and exploring the implications of this for NZ emissions reduction targets and treatment of net emissions from forestry.
