Fuchsi* is a Senior Research Software Engineer at Climate Resource’s Berlin office.
They focus on the Rapid Evaluation Framework for the CMIP7 Assessment Fast Track, but also support the other in-house projects, ranging from NDC Quantification to the analysis tools for historical GHG emissions (PRIMAP-hist) and back-end storage solutions.
Prior to joining Climate Resource, Fuchsi* obtained a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the Free University of Berlin and worked as a research assistant at the TU Berlin, working on numerical algorithms for high dimensional tensor approximations. After spending a few years working as a programmer on non-scientific projects ranging from real-time market analysis to game development, they are now eager to return to the scientific community and help build a better understanding of our future.
